Ceramics - Adults & Children (10-16 yers)
Do you want to have an outlet for creativity and experience creative joy together? Welcome to the ceramics course together with a child aged 10-16. This course requires no prior knowledge, everyone creates at their own pace. You will learn the basic techniques of turning, slab biodling and pinching. We start by turning one piece each. A candleholder, cup or why not a little bowl :) Then we sit down at the work table to slab build, pinch and sculpt. After the course, you get to choose 5 pieces, each of which we fire and glaze in any color. There are also underglazes that you can decorate with :)

My name is Malin and I have had my hands in the mud for over 10 years. My own creation is always driven by desire. I do what I find fun and I am inspired by the beauty in the imperfect. I am a health educator and crafts educator and the focus of my courses is to dare to let go of control and be curious to try something new. In June 2022, my fantastic colleague Judith and I opened the doors to our own ceramics workshop, Studio Alster, with an extra sense of durability, nice hanging and creativity. There we gather like-minded ceramic lovers who want to manage their own time and come and create when it suits them. We also offer courses and events. Welcome to be inspired by the environment and immerse yourself in ceramics.

The location

Own shop door on ground level, large arched windows facing the street. Shorter stairs are just inside the door. If a lift is desired, contact me beforehand and we'll sort it out :)
